Galloway Horse Club team competitions
We would very much like to enter teams for at least some of this year’s Area Competitions. Dates and venues : (as far as we know!) Open, Intermediate & Novice Horse Trials 6th June 2010 Tyningham Estate Dressage, Riding Test & DTM TBC (17th July?) TBC (Polnoon?) Show Jumping & Style Jumping 20th June 2010 St Boswells All members are eligible for teams (as long as they have not ridden for another club this year) Horses must have up-to-date flu vaccination certificates. Too many BE or BD points may make you ineligible for some of the novice competitions. Don’t wait to be asked!! We will only enter teams where we have had enough members expressing an interest. Let Elaine know (Tel: 07894 270 012) if you fancy taking part in any of the above competitions. Riding in teams is a lot of fun – particularly at the Championships if you are lucky enough to qualify. Unfortunately, teams are also expensive. After discussion the committee has decided to continue with the financial arrangements that were, by-and-large, well accepted by those taking part over the past 2 years. The GHC will pay the initial cost of entering, to British Riding Clubs, but the participating member will be asked to pay the second entry fee which is due to the Riding Club is running the competition.TEAMS 2010
