I hope you are managing to survive all the rain!? We seem to have been quite lucky this year in not having to cancel any events due to the weather, and we can also guarantee the Field Day will go ahead as it is indoors!
The Spring dressage evenings, Open Showjumping and Open Show have all been a great success, and as always, thank you to all those who helped to make the events a success.
The GHC had a successful trip to Strathaven for the Area Dressage competition back in July with two teams, coming third and fourth. The team members were Alex Price, Moira McTaggart, Katie Morton, Shona Morton, Claire Price, Heather Conn, Ann Plummer and myself.
Unfortunately we didn’t have enough people able to take part in the Area Show Jumping to make up a team, so please give me a shout if you would like to take part next year!

The aim of the day is for everybody to HAVE FUN! So please, enter as many classes as you can, bring your friends and give it a go!
AGM & Prize Giving on Wednesday 4th November at the Galloway Arms, Crocketford
We are having a bar supper before the meeting and anyone is welcome, if you arrive at 6.30 that will allow plenty of time. Although detailed numbers are not necessary, it would help if you could let me know beforehand if you plan to come for the meal. Of course you are welcome to just attend the meeting if you prefer. I hope that as many as possible will come along and join us.
If you are unable to make the AGM, please do drop me a line if you have any suggestions or requests for 2010. We are always open to suggestions (my contact details are on the website).
